While this book doesn’t cover in-depth electrical troubleshooting or engine overhaul, it will give you a good head start in auto mechanics. After reading it and with a little practical work, you should be able to perform basic mechanic repairs and understand a lot more about how your car works. Despite the spectacular titles, these books are of marginal value to the diesel tuner as very much petrol/"gas" motor oriented & lacking depth. While most are PDF files, there is a few in mobipocket e-book format .mobi). Off the various mobi readers available can recommend Calibre (free & . First, don't chip too early There is no point in getting a new ECU program early in your engine build up and then later upgrading to bigger lift and duration cams, or larger injectors, bigger fuel pump, or an aftermarket IM/bigger bore TB, etc., since these parts just render your "new" ECU program obsolete and useless (ie. any power gains from the chip are eliminated). The block is the main part of the engine that contains the reciprocating components that harness the energy in the gasoline. If you’re looking under the hood, it’s the big piece of metal that’s found in the center of the engine bay that seems to have a whole bunch of other metal, wires and tubes attached to it. The tuning school books any good? I wish they went more into turbo applications like atsv/cts vsport and ats/camaro t as I am getting a lot more people interested in tuning these cars and just like to learn more on the platforms of the right way on certain things as a lot of times questions go unanswered on here on some more complex problems.
